[vtkusers] How to create an infinite plane? Is it possible at all in VTK?

I know that this question was asked before, but it was never given a good
answer.
Is there an option in VTK to create an infinite plane? Something that won't
show edges no matter how deep we zoom? Something like in the picture?

And if the answer is no, can I do it using direct OpenGL call?
