[vtkusers] Large datasets

Dear all,
I have just a quick question -- we are generating fairly large image files
(~250-500Mb per output time-step); we have made sure to use appropriate
data types, we are setting the XML writer to 'appended' mode, using the
default compression (vtkZLibDataCompressor) and then gzipping the final
folders. Is there anything more we can do to reduce the size of the files?
If we were to switch to using HDF5 for storage, is that likely to achieve
anything?
