[vtkusers] vtkSelectEnclosedPoints without an input

Hi. Is it possible to use vtkSelectEnclosedPoints without setting an input?
I want to set a closed surface and then test if some points are inside the
surface (with IsInsideSurface), but without inserting these points into a
vtkDataSet. If I don't set an input dataset, I get an error.

Thanks in advance, and I'll really appreciate any suggestion.
