[vtkusers] problem with latest x11 on fc9 with vtk

Salut Arnaud,

  I do not believe this has anything to do with VTK:

1. You might need to restart you X server for your update to work
2. try starting xvinfo/glxinfo/glxgears they should also report an
error, maybe a little more verbose
