[vtkusers] imagedata problem

Hi Everybody,
  i'm working on a vtkimagedata as an output of volume16 reader....it works well with rendering and filters but when i tried to access a point or cell using "GetPoint" method i got an error on vtk output window says "error : requesting a point from an empty image"
   
  can anybody help with that?...or just give me a hint about the right way to do it.....?
