[vtkusers] Parallel stereo rendering to two display outputs.

Hello,
 
Has anybody out there been able to do parallel stereo rendering with VTK,
i.e., render left and right stereo views to two separate display adapters,
or two outputs of a single adapter, as would be required for some HMDs?
 
I don't see this option in vtkRenderWindow, but perhaps using two Renderers
with different display ids? Any tips would be most appreciated.
