[vtkusers] maximum coordinate value

Can anyone tell me what is the maximum and minimum x,y,z coordinate values 
that I can input into SetOrigin() of vtkImageData?

Does this represent Display coordinates (i.e. pixels?) or Model 
coordinates..or what?

I need to superimpose an axes over my image data (which represents an xy 
plot) and am confused on how to go about this so that the x and y axes both 
intersect at the location representing 0,0 on my image data...
