[vtkusers] Installing VTK Help

Hello Everybody,
    Im running a windows xp computer and I dont know much about computers or
open source.  I was reccomended this software for plotting in 3D but Im
having trouble installing it.  I tried to follow the instructions in the
website but couldnt get cmake to work.  Also I dont know what they mean when
they say run msdev.  If anybody can send more step by step instructions it
would be greatly appreciated.
