[vtkusers] modifying vtkpoints

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me.  I am trying to access vtkpoints
which I am able to do with GetPoint(), however when I alter the values
with SetPoint()nothing seems to happen.  I have tried calling Modified()
to update the points but nothing seems to happen.
