[vtkusers] structured grid blanking output is bad in ascii mode

When writing ascii output for a structured grid, I get output like this before a
core dump...

>From documentation, the BLANKING field should contain ones and zeroes only.
I'm using vtk 4.0.  Does anyone have a fix or has this been bug been fixed in a
nightly release?
