[vtkusers] Loading uncompressed AVI files into VTK

Hi,

What is the best way of loading an uncompressed AVI file into VTK? I have written a quick Win32 C program to convert an uncompressed AVI file to a sequence of BMP images, so I can load the volume using vtkBMPReader. To write an AVI I do the same thing in reverse; output as a sequence of BMPs, and convert to AVI. Is there a more direct method than this?
