Asad, The sample you pointed to shows only one part of the problem. Please take a look at a small app to show a cone using VTK in a Windows Form. http://www.tc.cornell.edu/~ajd27/ You have to set the system environment variable, VTK_HOME=C:\Program Files\vtk42 (or whatever you use) and then restart visual studio.
