[vtkusers] Convention for polygons boolean operations

Is there a convention (such as clockwise or anticlockwise)
for polygons, to specify if they are intended to be plain 
polygons or holes ?

Is vtkTriangleFilter able to handle holes with help of such 
a convention ?
