vtkTubeFilter: Cell's field data lost after Render()

Hi everybody, 

In vtk 2.4 I render lines with vtkTubeFilter and attach field data to
its strips' points and cells to get pick informations later on. All
works fine until I render: After Render() the field data of the tube's
cells are lost, the point field data are still there.

Is there anything I should be aware of, or is this a normal behavior?
