Bonjour Sébastien,

Great to see some effort put on the Java wrapping side. If you are
working on it, maybe you can help me out with the following issue. I
cannot read a non-ASCII file from VTK/Java. I have setup a very simple
java script to demonstrate the issue as well as a proposed patch at:

  https://github.com/malaterre/VTK/commit/44d3e13bc1eb6725be457b1e02d66cc0fc7787db

The patch is rather invasive and I would hate to break something for
the 7bits-people out there. Could you please review the patch ? I
tested on OpenJDK/debian 64bits and WinXP/Win7 with SunJDK and it
looks right.

Thanks,
--
Mathieu
