[vtk-developers] function to fill a whole in a model

I want to know how to fill a hole in a model.  I first take out a piece of the model using vtkSelectPolyData class, and now I want to fill the hole with a smooth or flat surface.
Is there a class that can fill a whole with a flat or smooth surface?
