Well, this is the whole difference between "static HTML pages" and a search
engine (dynamic pages, i.e. cgi/bin or PHP, probably a SQL database to
index the pages, installing Apache and/or MySQL locally to test the whole
stuff, etc). Very different (although not difficult). But I'd need to have
local access to the Web server at Kitware to work confortably, otherwise
I'd spend too much time telnet'ing or stuff like that.

Static pages were fine to me at the time I wrote the Perl scripts. They are
still fine to me, although too big. I we could put keywords from a
pre-defined list of keywords in each example, then it would be enough for
me to sort the examples in a way that would be more user-friendly and that
would allow an example to pertain to more than one "theme". Actually the
"full text index" page can be used for that (check for the "decimate
(decimated, decimation)" entry for example), but with limited success)

BTW there are free search-engine solution like HtDig that are easy to
setup, and that could gather informations.
