[Paraview] StreamTracing on a cut plane

Hello,

just to be sure, I ask ... have you constrained the 3-dimensional 
velocity field to lie on the surface; i.e. have you projected the 
velocity vector on the plane? If you did, are you selecting the correct 
vector field in the streamline tab (the projected vectors, and not the 
3d-vector)?
