[Paraview] StreamTracing on a cut plane

Hello,
I have a data set that contains a velocity field, to which I connect a plane cutter object, on which I am able to visualize velocity (display->color by velocity), so it means that the velocity field has been interpolated over the place. BUT the problem is that if I connect a StreamTracer on the cut plane, I do not obtain any streamline. The seeds are generated by points and centered on bounds so which mistake could I have made? Anybody faced this issue?
