[Paraview] mouse interaction

Please Help,

Will ParaView allow a user to right-click with a mouse (or some keypress 
value) on a displayed point in a mesh and get info on that point such as 
fill value? If not can someone please point me in the direction for 
information on how to do this (maybe by extending the source code in VTK)?

I have been looking through the VTK users list and can find no information 
on this.
