[vtkusers] Making VTK renderwindow background transparent

Is it possible to make the vtk render window with one render layer to be
transparent ?
If I try to add more layer I can make the other layers transparent except
the first layer or the base layer.

When I try to render then I get a black background which I want to make it
transparent and render only actors.

The sample code that I tried is  Sample.txt
