[vtkusers] question about "voxel spacing" in VolView

Hi Daniel,

I do not know how VolView specifically works, but in a DICOM series the
slice-to-slice distance shall be computed starting from the "Image Position
(Patient)" and "Image Orientation (Patient)" DICOM attributes.

Hope it helps.

Best regards,

Marco
Hi all,

I have tried and tested the program VolView with a dicom image. It occurred
to me the following (Please look at the screenshot.).

I can't explain to me how the last value of "voxel spacing" (= 1) is formed.
So far I always thought this would be the "Slice Thickness".

How to get to the last value in the row of "voxel spacing"? Is there a
dicom-tag?
