Thanks. Not sure why I couldn't find the issue in the bugtracker.  I
searched for vtkSmartVolumeMapper, and I didn't see this.  I guess I should
search the commits on git?

I had the same problem a while back.....

This commit fixed it:

It's in 6.1, but not in 6.0.

Or you can just patch your 6.0 with the same change, and it should fix it.
