[vtkusers] Draw a 2D line?

Dear vtk users,

how can I draw a 2D line from [x_0, y_0] to [x_1, y_1], where x_k, y_k, are
integers in window coordinates? Furthermore, I would like to specify the
line thickness.

This should rendered on top of any 3D geometry in a vtkRenderer. Thanks.
