[vtkusers] problems in the volume calculation with vtkMassProperties

I know, higher the resolution, the more accurate is the volume calculation. 
What I meant was, that should be the volume of the sphere is larger than the
colored surface (look at the image). But now I also know that
vtkMassProperties not worked with unclosed objects.
Can I use scalar values for volume calculation?
