[vtkusers] Multi-threaded programming in VTK

Hi folks,

I committed a new framework that will hopefully make it easier to develop
shared memory parallel algorithms in VTK. For details see:

Note that this is just the first steps towards robust SMP support and there
is a more to come. Also note that this work is an evolutionary approach to
multi-core support and is complimentary to revolutionary approaches (Piston
and Dax currently).
