Dear Andres,
you can find some useful information on how to build VTK for a Windows
platform on VTK's wiki <http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Building/Windows>.
You may also find some simple and more complicated examples
here<http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples>in order to achieve your
goals.
However, take into account that VTK will not provide the GUI support for
the ensemble of your application. VTK provides the support for the scenes.
A popular choice for the GUI is Qt <http://qt-project.org/>.
Whenever you need some starting point with VTK-related issues, its wiki is
a good place.
Kind regards,
JON HAITZ
