[vtkusers] Volume looks odd (picture inside)

Hello VTKusers!

I am rendering a smoke volume with the *vtkFixedPointVolumeRayCastMapper.*
**
The resulting volume looks fine except of strange boundaries as shown in
the picture:

Is there a way to remove those?
