[vtkusers] QVTKRenderWidget with pyQt4?

Greetings,

I recently wrote an application using python, tkinter, and vtk for
visualizing some experimental information. The application works
fantastically, however I would like to migrate the app away from using
tkinter and use Qt.

Here is the questions: Is it appropriate to use the QVTKRenderWidget with
pyQt4? I am using the most recent pythonxy distribution which I think has
the vtk library compiled with the Qt flags?

If anyone has any good examples to point me to, it would be
much appreciated.
