[vtkusers] add scalars to image data

Hi

I am going to design a VR simulator for tool -tissue interaction in
laparoscopic surgeries(laparoscopic Cholecystectomy). I used Vvisible Human
dataset of abdomen                         (VHP ABdomen.mhd). I have wrote
it in .vtk format from itk and visualized from ITK-SNAP.Now I want to add a
scalar to liver  and Gallbladder(to each pixel) . Can you please direct me
how to achieve that.
