Hi all,

a year ago I had a similar problem with CSG boolean operations. Then I found 
http://www.cgal.org/ CGAL , which do have excellent support for CSG boolean
operations. 

The license comes in two flavors: Some parts of CGAL are available under the
LGPL, other parts are under the GPL.
