[vtkusers] vtkOctree and vertex's area

hi All,
I'm used the vtkOctree.cxx class in order to subdivide my 3D meshes to
nodes.Now , I wanna that, when i pick on the mesh, i retrieve the nearest
vertex and its area ( with all vertex and edges that belongs in this area) ,
any body here can help me!!!! and thanks
