[vtkusers] VTK & Java 7 (custom OpenGL view)

Hello,

I realized that the Java binding of VTK does not work on OS X for Java >=7.
Are there plans in the near future to change the implementation from NSView
to something else? I know that Java 6 is still available for OS X but
unfortunately this is no option for me :(

What about JavaFX?

Is there a tutorial on how to create a custom render window/view? This
would be very helpful.
