[vtkusers] copy cells ( polyData) from one mesh to an other

ok, i mean if i have two meshes for the same 3D object, one is more detailed
than the other one, can I , when i pick on the first mesh, extract the
region corresponded and replace it by the same region in the second mesh.
It's just an idea, i want to know if it is possible as an idea to apply it
