[vtkusers] VTK, MSVS and Quicktime

I sent my Qt/VTK application, built with MSVS 8 2005 on Windows XP, with 
statically linked VTK-5.4 libraries, to someone interested in trying it out.  He 
was unable to get the program to run on his XP machine until he installed 
Quicktime.  I wonder if anyone has any ideas about why Quicktime should have any 
influence on this program's execution.
