[vtkusers] How do you remove a texture from an actor?

All,

I have a texture applied to an actor, but for a certain visualization I need
to display point scalars. I can turn on the scalars, but the texture is
still applied (which I don't want). I don't see a method to remove the
texture from my actor. Does anybody have any suggestions?
