[vtkusers] Text,Line and Box Annotations

I was wondering what is the best way to annotate simple graphics elements
like text, line and box in a 2D overlay over a 3D vtk window.

I notice that there is the vtkContext API, but could not find a convenient
example that allows me these type of annotations.

Would appreciate some pointers.
