[vtkusers] curve:vtkSpline

hi...

i am new to vtk and at present i am aware of the limited resources in
programming vtk in c++

i am in need to create a random curve(random bents on a ine) on a random
point on the surface of a sphere...i have created the sphere using the
example program and found the point lying on the circumference of the
sphere.

i am searching to create a curve but i was only able to get till the use of
a vtkspline class but no example and also the online reference documentation
seems to have nothing of what i want ....

if any one have generated a curve using the vtkspline class or is there any
other effective method to create a random curve please share with me .
