Hello,

I am hoping to create a surface rendering from freehand ultrasound images,
but I think i need to create a 3D regular grid first? The images have been
masked such that they only contain either black or white pixels. The object
I am ultrasounding is quite complicated, has many small sections and
branches. In addition, I only have the images and their location in space
(given from 3D probe tracking). The images are not evenly spaced, and may be
overlapping. Is there a good method to interpolate such images into a
regularly spaced volume so that I can render a surface? I have tried
Delaunay algorithms but it seems to be confused by the multiple sections of
the object.

any advice is welcome,
cheers,
caitlin
