[vtkusers] problems with vtkStreamTracer

Good afternoon,
i am using vtkStreamTracer to generate streamlines. i set as input an vtkImageData that contains a Image with vectors as pixels that represents the dicom image. it gives no error but as i can see, the streamTracer did not read properly the information of the input. no information is stored in the vtkStreamTracer only the bounds of the image.  i saw many examples using vtkStructuredGrid but no one with vtkImageData. I can visualize another objects with the same pipeline, but not the streamlines. the problem is in the setInput of the StreamTracer... any hint?
