[vtkusers] Blue to black lookup table (kind of) - VTK bug?

Hi VTK list,

I have a strange problem with lookup tables after upgrading from
Ubuntu 8.04 to 9.10 or from VTK 5.0.3 to 5.2.1, respectively. As you
can see in the attached screenshots the visualisation of scalar values
via lookup table look - even it is the EXACT some code - different.
The lookup table seem to range from blue to black although the
associated scalar bar seems to be correct. Can anybody think of a
reason for this? Is this maybe in any way related to "new" light
options? Was there a major change in the usage of lookup tables or is
this a VTK bug?
