[vtkusers] vtkVolumeRayCastCompositeFunction: AIP?

Hi everyone 

I'm working with vtkVolumeRayCastCompositeFunction but my results aren't excellent. 

I know that there are other two methods to do something similar: 

-vtkVolumeRayCastIsosurfaceFunction
-vtkVolumeRayCastMIPFunction

But I would like to have a sort of AIP=Averaged Intensity Projection Method... Does it exist something similar in VTK? Could anyone help me?
