[vtkusers] prevent vtkVolumeRayCastMapper from recomputing when its input is not changed

I have a actor using vtkVolumeRayCastMapper. Whenever I manipulate the actor with mouse 
or just click anywhere on screen, the vtkVolumeRayCastMapper will recompute itself. I turned 
off its ReleaseDataFlag, but still can't stop it from recomputing. Is there a way to stop 
vtkVolumeRayCastMapper from doing computation when it's input is not changed?
