[vtkusers] Vtkactor and the getPosition function

hi, 

I have a little question, i would like to know what sort of position the
function getposition will return me, will i get the center of a figure or
what position!

i ask because i need to know the center of a vtkActor which represent a
sphere or cylinder, or cube, or a thedrahedra (this geomatry source was
created by  my professor him-self) etc
