[vtkusers] .vtk vs .vti

.vtk is not obsolete, it is just the original format supported by vtk.
If is less flexible and the newer xml based files (like .vti) are
recommended. However, the old .vtk file is easy to read/write outside
of vtk. For instance, itk only read/writes .vtk files.
