[vtkusers] Extract only bones or other tissues from a Ct

Hi,

 

Well that is a strange dataset for CT than. Normally tissue value (like bone
and skin etc.) differ quiet enough for such a rendering as the density is
not the same, the problem with some datasets of old people is that the bones
lose density therefore overlap with other tissue types.

The screenshot on the Osirix page shows only a VRT rendering without
segmentation (pretty sure about this).

Anyway if it doesn't work, you need to segment your dataset before rendering
it (which by the way is NOT interactive), I'll send you the project to
combine ITK/VTK. Start reading the ITK-guideline (PDF) which gives a lot of
valuable information.
