[vtkusers] Problems with keyboard interaction

Hi Oliver,

 

surprise!  Same behaviour happens on my 32 bit vista machine on a shared
release build

(MS Visual Studio 2005) of cvs VTK.  This is a bug of some kind and does not
seem to be 

particular to any single widget. Can you post this to the bug tracker?

i used vtk 5.0.4  with bcc 5.9.3 and everything was ok - no problems 
with keyboard interaction. After the upgrade to vtk 5.2.0 in noticed the 
problems. Not all keyboard interaction fails, just interaction with 
widgets e.g. vtkImagePlaneWidget - mouse interaction works e. g. 
changing level and window or moving the plane through a dataset - 
keyboard interaction with the rendering window works e. g. pressing "p" 
for picking or pressing "s" for surface view ... but enabling / disable 
a vtkImagePlaneWidget with a defined key fails - even if i compile vtk 
5.2.0 with VC++ 2008 Express Edition and using TCL ... seems that some 
keyboard interaction is lost.  It's maybe a Vista problem - i'm not 
sure, i have to go deeper inside the problem ... Do you use vtk 5.2.0 on 
a 64bit Vista System without these problems?
