[vtkusers] Change image resolution

Hi,

I'm storing my images in a vtkImageData object and displaying them with
vtkImageActor. Sometimes this images are very large, like 3300x4096 px, and
I woud like to resize them depending on the size of the rendering window,
and making them smaller, because with such resolution the interaction with
the image is very slow, for example, when you try to zoom in or change the
window level.

Which options offers vtk to change the resolution of an image? Is there
anyspecific filter to do that?
