[vtkusers] Changing the handle properties and/or representation of vtkSplineWidget

Hi All,
Is it possible to change the shape of the handles of the vtkSplineWidget? I
see that I could change the property associated with it but that applies to
ALL handles.
I would like to be able to set the property of  a specific handle, for
instance the first and last handle, to be able to distinguish the direction
of the spline.
Is this possible with the current API?
