[vtkusers] Version of libpng

Hi vtk developers!

I have seen that version 1.0.12 of libpng is used in vtk 5.0.3 (png.h).
The current version is 1.2.18
(http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/libpng.html). Are there any plans to
switch to a newer version? How about other libs? What's the strategy
there?
